Shane Robinson.
Played for athy at underage level and also represented Kildare County at underage.

Shane is 18 years old and is a central midfielder or an attacking midfielder. Scored many goals for athy at schoolboy level and certainly has an eye for goal. His vision and touch is what makes him a real threat to opposition teams.

 Sean Byrne.

Another one of Athy's underage successes.

Sean is in his second spell at Clonmullion after he joined up with Bridge United last season. Since his return, he has cemented his place in the starting line up. The centre back has lived up to his underage potential and is now a very intimidating defender for even the biggest of striker's to come up against. He has been capped on numerous occasions for the Kildare County development squad at youth level and is going to have alot of people watching him this season aswell. Known to play in midfield when required.

 Mark Donovan.

Smurf burst onto the local soccer scene in the 2004/2005 season where he had a brilliant first term. He has kept this consistensy going to make him one of Clonmullion's thoughest players. His heart and determination to win are among his top qualities and he is always one of the first names on Joe Robbo's team sheet. He is always good for a goal at the crucial time making him one of the most prolific finishers in the game.

 Liam Leonard.

It seems like Lenny has been around forever. The veteran who has been at the club for 8 long seasons, has been through a lot with them, and is still only 28. As a full back, lacks a bit of pace, but makes up for it with pure football ability.

Value:€1.5m

 JohnJoe Donovan.

Another player who has been around for a long time and recognised as one of the senior players in the squad. At 29, the silky winger still has another few years left in the engine to torment defences all over the county. Regarded by many as one of the best players in the division.

Value:€8m

 Patrick O Brien.

Like Sean Byrne, Paddy is another player who is in his second spell at Clonmullion, after been out on loan to Woodstock Celts last season. With a point to prove to Joe, one has to wonder how long it will be till he is a first team regular for the mull.

Value:€3.75m

Martin Redmond.

Redders is another, who has been around since the early days of Clonmullion. The Veteran shotstopper is one reasons why the club has become so successful over the years with his fine goalkeeping abilities. Has since hung up his gloves on a full time basis and only plays part time when needed due to his proneness to injury. Is now the clubs first team coach.

 Ross Cardiff.

One of Clonmullion's many Athy Town schoolboys players.

Ross has played on The Academy team in 2007 and has stayed with Clonmullion since. The extremely versitile player has impressed since joining the club and is on the verge of breaking into the first team with his recent performances at right back. A very quick, skillful player who is all heart.

Jason Whelan.

One of the most important panel members, Jumbo uses his size and strength to his advantage. Very dominant in the air and good on the ball. Played for Athy at both senior and schoolboy level.

Barry Foley.

Team captain for season 2008 & 2008/2009 campaign.

Although still only 25 years old, Barry has been with the squad for a long time, putting in solid performances week in and week out on the pitch which has earned him captaincy of the team. The full back, who also plays in the centre, is very strong into the takle and never pulls out. Very good going up the field and excellent in the air. He often encourages the younger members of the squad and keeps the more experienced players in their place. A model captain for any team.
